Welcome to my website. Here you will find detailed information on my background and experience. Having studied mineralogy and crystallography, I have spent much of my professional career growing large single crystals of technologically interesting materials. With crystals such as these, it is possible to perform in-depth studies of their optical, electrical, and mechanical properties and to develop methods for modifying and improving their usefulness in applications such as laser light amplification, nonlinear and electro-optical beam modulation, and pyroelectric energy conversion.
